Wedding: Bratton and Windham
Tabetha Windham of Vidalia and Matthew Bratton of West Monroe, La., were married Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. on Navarre Beach in Navarre, Fla.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James D. Windham of Lake St. John and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bratton of West Monroe.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, James D. Windham and grandfather, C.B. Windham.
She wore a white chiffon, fitted strapless gown with draped drop down waist bodice and a ruffled full trumpet skirt.
Dawn Maynor of Dallas was the matron of honor and Brooke Bowden of Vidalia, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amber Russell of New York, N.Y., Carla Crofford of Vidalia, Lesli Bratton of West Monroe and Maria Magee of Dallas.
They wore coral strapless knee-length gowns.
Emma Windham of Vidalia was the flower girl.
Dennis Bratton of West Monroe was the best man.
Groomsmen were Jason Wilhite of Shreveport, La., Heath Culp, Jim Ed Holmes and Brian Maynor, all of Dallas and Tip Windham of Vidalia.
Kenan Maynor of Dallas was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at The Sand Castle on Navarre Beach following the ceremony.
After a wedding a trip around the Panhandle of Florida, the couple will live in Dallas.
Engagement: VInes and Tosspon
Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lewis Vines Jr. of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Anne Vines to Brent Ellis Tosspon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kelly of Ferriday and Mr. and Mrs. George Tosspon of Pineville, La.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of the Aveda Institute in Baton Rouge.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. Marion Lewis Vines Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary Ann Vines of Natchez and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton E. Brock of Shreveport, La.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and is attending Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. He is employed by Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc., in Houston, Texas.
He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Tosspon of Wildsville, La., Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith of Liberty and the late Mrs. Barbara Smith of Baton Rouge.
The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at Memorial Park in Natchez. A reception will follow at the park.

Engagement: Creel and Roberts
Jessie and Shonya Creel of Columbia announce the engagement of their daughter, Maegan Cherrelle Creel to Kevin David Roberts, son of Kenny and Debbie Roberts of Ferriday.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Lewis and Linda Cox of Foxworth and Shelton and Veta Mae Creel of Columbia.
The groom-to-be is a graduate of Monterey High School and is employed by Billy Cliburn of Ferriday.
He is the grandson of Marvin and Jo Evans of Ferriday and Dave and Beverly Dentino of Gonzales, La.
The wedding will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at Woodlawn United Pentecost Church in Columbia. A reception will follow at the church.

Anniversary: Smith
Jerry L. and Margie Smith of Hendersonville, Tenn., formerly of Natchez, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. The couple has one daughter, Laureida Dooley and husband, Doug, of Cross Plains, Tenn. They have one step-grandson, Doug Dooley Jr., also of Cross Plains. The couple was married Nov. 1, 1959, at Knoxville Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tenn.
Anniversary: Zettler
Mr. and Mrs. Roger W. Zettler of Baton Rouge celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 24, 2009. The couple has four children, Valerie Hoffman and husband, Donnie, of Gonzales, La., Roger Zettler and wife, Marsha, of Hammond, La., Connie Spain and husband, Randy, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Leslie Tornabene and husband, Chuck, of Omaha, Neb. They have nine grandchildren, Hunter Wood, Jessica Wood, Ashley and KC Cook, Randall Spain, Isabella Tornabene, Maria, Hays and John Henry Town; and one great-grandchild, Blakely Grace Wood. The couple was married at Trinity Episcopal Church in Natchez.
