Brittany Ann McCalip, a student at Trinity Episcopal Day School, was selected by The Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District to attend the Warren A. Hood Natural Resources Camp at Hinds Community College in Raymond. While attending camp, youth are educated about natural resources. McCalip was also chosen to receive The Mississippi Association of Conservation District’s Endowment Fund $2,000 scholarship at the closing banquet. The scholarship is awarded to one camp participant each year. The award was presented by MACD President Sam Newsom
