It is not just the Adams County Supervisors
who are having ratings trouble.

People who hoard animals like this need
some SERIOUS psychiatric help.

These poor head cases wrongly believe that they
are somehow "helping" the large number of
animals they possess,
when in fact they are actually harming them.

Sadly there are a LOT more of these types
of people who OFTEN cannot maintain normal
HUMAN relationships and feebly attempt to
hoard the poor animals to compensate.

A word to the wise:
Limit the number of animals you "care for" to
avoid in reality ABUSING these animals by neglect.
Be realistic about your resources and abilities.

Bless the beast AND THE CHILDREN.

Sheriff Mayfield and all of our law enforcement people are doing
their "job" and doing it very well.

Glad we elected Chuck Mayfield Sheriff !
Glad we have Chief Mike Mullins !
Thankful for the men and women who work for them AND US !

KUDOS to Law Enforcement !
Keep on keeping on y'all !

Unfortunately the naysayers do NOT realize that REAL LIFE is
NOT a television FANTASY DRAMA where crimes are solved in 30 minutes or less along with multiple commercial breaks.

Here's a hint: turn off the television and try reading.
It's okay if you move your lips along with the words,
we understand it may be difficult for you at first...:)

To paraphrase Winston Churchill,
WE sleep MUCH better at night knowing that there are those
brave men and women (law enforcement) prepared to visit force upon those (criminal elements) who would attempt to do US ALL harm.

Why not go to a "20 point" grading scale
and let most of the students be "honor students"?

Then local schools could win all kinds of "awards".
and imitate a certain small town
newspaper in "winning" those "awards".

Of course then the REAL world would
intervene as the students find out that
India and China don't "play well with others"
on the watered down "sliding scale".

It's all about the grading "scale" isn't it?

:)

On Should local high schools use a 10-point grading scale or a 7-point scale?
